A photograph of a young bridesmaid and other guests at a society wedding in St James' Church, Piccadilly, London, taken by Tomlin for the Daily Herald newspaper on 6 October, 1936. This little girl wears a lace shawl and full length gown, and carries a bouquet which complements her floral headdress. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723), and consecrated on 13 July 1684, St James' Church stands today in London's fashionable West End. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
