A photograph of a woman unloading dresmaking dummies from a parked car, taken by Tomlin for the Daily Herald newspaper on 11 May, 1932. The dummies are being unloaded in the street outside the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, in preparation for an exhibition of nineteenth century women's clothing. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
