A Kodak circular snapshot photograph of The Pantiles, a colonnaded walkway in Tunbridge wells, Kent, taken by an unknown photographer in 1888. In the early 17th century the Chalybeate Spring was discovered, and Tunbridge Wells grew in popularity as a spa resort. The colonnaded walkway, later known as The Pantiles, was built in the 18th century.
