Description
One of a series of 'Air Raid Precautions' cards. This one shows various types of barrier, from a brick wall to a crate filled with insulation, to a pile of suitcases, all intended to act as various stages of a barrier again the impact of a bomb blast. Despite widely being regarded as a useful source of instruction, production of cigarette cards was halted during both World Wars due to shortages.
