Bulldog and squirrel (B&W)

The bulldog looks threatening but is really nuts about squirrels. It was with a family that found three squirrels abandoned in the woods. It was nursing pups at the time, so they bottle fed the squirrels then put them in with the dog & pups for company. Photographer John Drysdale trained at Guildford School of Art in the early 1950s. He has worked in photo-reportage, advertising and industrial photography and won numerous awards. His most memorable work has been in the field of humour, working with children and animals.
