Description
One of a set of teaching cards published by James Reynolds & Sons, London, England around 1850. Titled 'Constellations in The Northern Celestial Hemisphere ', the map shows the stars visible to the naked eye from the Northern hemisphere. The star chart is also marked with the Milky Way, a misty patch of light produced by countles faint stars in the plane of our galaxy.
