Handbill advertising a series of lectures on astronomy to be given on the 5-7 May 1830 at the Angel Inn, Edmonton, Enfield, London by Mr Adams. The lectures are in three parts, the first being about the Earth, including the demonstration of Adam's tellurian (a model of the sun, moon and earth) and a painting of the zodiac. The second was about the Moon and the third about the solar system, concluding with a demonstration of the 'Vertical Orrery'. In addition to these lectures, the handbill advertised two lectures on pneumatics 'or the properties of air'. Printed in Tottenham.
