Handbill advertising a series of lectures on astronomy to be given at the Lyceum, or the Theatre Royal, English Opera House by C H Adams. The lectures were advertised to take place every Wednesday evening from 28 February to 6 April and were each divided into three parts: the first about the Earth, the second about the Moon, and the third about the solar system. The lecture concluded with a demonstration of the 'Vertical Orrery'. Tickets were priced from 1s to 4s. The handbill was printed by W S Johnson of the Naasau Steam Pres in Soho, London.
