Description
The Weathermaker was a high-efficiency residential gas furnace air conditioning unit incorporating a blower and filter, invented by Carlyle Ashley and produced by the Carrier Corporation. American engineer Willis Haviland Carrier (1876-1950) pioneered the equipment that made air conditioning units posible. As early as 1902, only one year after graduating, Carrier installed the first air conditioning unit to control the temperature and humidity in a printing plant in Brooklyn, New York.
