Ros-on-Wye, BR (WR) poster, 1950. Poster produced for British Railways (BR) Western Region (WR), promoting rail travel to the Herefordshire market town of Ros-on-Wye, showing a view of the old buildings and a church spire, with the River Wye in the foreground. Also seen is the castle- like 'Gazebo Tower', which was built along with mock gothic town walls, in 1833, as part of Palace Pound, the house of John Collins. Artwork by Lander.
