Poster produced for Southern Railway (SR) to promote conducted rambles during March, April and May. The poster’s illustration owes its inspiration to the popular Flemish manuscript illuminations and paintings of the medieval and Renaissance periods which showed depictions of the four seasons. Artwork by Audrey Weber.
