Oil painting by Norman Wilkinson, showing survivors leaving the sinking London, Midland & Scottish (LMS) railway steam ship Scotia. The Scotia was sunk, with the loss of 30 of her crew, by German dive bombers while assisting in the evacuation of British and French troops from Dunkirk in June 1940.
