Women examining sifted tea at a tea factory in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), January, 1945. 'Sifted tea is pased from the graders to these women, who, working at the sunlit windows, expertly remove any of the coarser parts of the leaf which may have pased through the earlier proceses of preparation and manufacture.'
