Description

Before modern moving-coil loudspeakers, most people listened to the radio on headphones. A speaker, if you had one, would probably have fixed coils driving an iron reed attached to a small diaphragm. However, this Frenophone loudspeaker incorporates a unique clockwork amplifier.
