Lithograph poster produced in the Soviet Union in 1973, translated as 'Cosmonauts Day 12 IV 1961 CCCP by Victorov, Moscow, 1973.' Poster shows Gagarin in a space helmet, with the Earth behind him and a rocket to the right. In 1961 Gagarin (1934-1968) became the first man to travel in space, completing a circuit of the Earth in the Vostok spaceship. He was killed in a plane accident during training in 1968.
