Description

Handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver made by the Magellan Corporation. The Global Postioning System (GPS) provides specially coded satellite signals that can be procesed by the GPS receiver, which enables the receiver to determine its exact location in latitude, longitude and altitude. These devices are often used by sailors, hill walkers, explorers and by the military.
