A transparent cast resin body containing visible body parts, seen on display in the 'Challenge of Materials' Gallery at the Science Museum, London. Acrylic is a polymer made from acrylonitrile (propenenitrile, CH2CHCN) which is transparent. It can be made either as a wool-like fibre or as a resin.
