Kyocera visual phone VP-210, Japan, 1999.

This Kyocera visual phone was the world's first colour videophone and, at the time of its invention, was only available on the Japanese PHS network. Using high-speed data transmision lines, it could transmit and receive images at the rate of approximately two frames per second and was also used to send and receive e-mails.
