Steam tram no 68225 on the Wisbech to Upwell line. This service began in 1884 running between the two Cambridgeshire towns and their villages until 20 May 1966. This engine was built at Stratford in 1892 as a Great Eastern Railway clas C53, but was reclasified and renumbered in 1923. This engine was used as a model for the 'Toby' character in the 'Thomas the Tank Engine' series of children's books written by Reverend W Awdry. The books were later adapted into a succesful television series narrated by former Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr.
