Description

The plastic of both dolls shows signs of surface degradation. Barbie, made by Mattel, celebrated her fortieth birthday in 1999 and remains one of the most popular dolls as she constantly evolves to reflect the times. Barbie's critics, however, claim that her unrealistic body shape is to blame for anorexia in girls and young women.
