Description

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) laboratory sample of a malaria vaccine developed by Dr Patarroyo and his colleagues in Bogota, Colombia, South America. Malaria is endemic or sporadic throughout the tropics and subtropics, and some strains of the disease are now becoming resistant to certain vaccines.
