Description
Children in the bedroom of their home, West Virginia, September 1938. Photograph taken by Marion Post Walcott when working for the Farm Security Administration (FSA) as part of Roosevelt's New Deal. The FSA produced some of the most remarkable social documentary photographs of the 20th century in their attempt to produce an encyclopaedic record of American life between 1935 and 1944.
