Description

Plate from 'The Official Descriptive and Illustrated Catalogue of the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations', (Vol 5, 1851). This improved four horse-power portable steam engine with threshing (or thrashing) machine attached was used for shaking the straw and dresing the corn in one operation.
