Description

The original newspaper caption reads, 'At the controls, turning into an approach toward Blagnac airfield at Toulouse, France, is 45-year-old Andre Turcat, chief test pilot of Sud Aviation and destined to become the first man to fly the Anglo-French supersonic aeroplane. Turcat and his flying team will make hundreds of simulated approaches between now and the date set for that first Concorde flight on 28 February 1968.'
