A plate taken from the photographer Peter Henry Emerson's (1856- 1936) first landscape book 'Life and Landscape on the Norfolk Broads', 1887. This particular print was taken from the de luxe edition which was illustrated with forty platinum prints. He destroyed the negative plates, guaranteeing the exclusivity of the product. The picture shows two fishermen planting their bownet in the reeds.
