A printed handbill advertising a 'Grand Gala and Evening Promenade' at Stewartfield Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland on 25 October 1841. The gala entertainments include the public demonstration of three balloons: the 'Queen Victoria' at 8pm, the 'Great Prince Albert' at 8.15pm, and the 'Princes Royal' at 8.30pm, followed by a large fireworks display. The event cost one shilling and sixpence, or a shilling for children. Dimensions: 615mm x 260mm.
