A printed handbill advertising an exhibition of panoramic views at the Exchange Rooms in Manchester. The show contains images of Mr Marshall's flight from London to Germany in the 'aeronautikon' balloon, including: the balloon being inflated; leaving Vauxhall Gardens and ascending over London; flying acros the channel by moonlight; and flying over the Rhine at sunrise. It also introduces panoramic views of China, Afghanistan and the Khyber Pas, executed by George Danson from sketches made on the post (in the balloon) by D Roberts and C Stanfield.
