Description

Brochure for the 'Locomotive' electric washing machine and mangle. The clothes are placed in the copper tank with soap and water and agitated back and forth. Despite the eccentric wash action, machines like this were mas-produced in the 1920s. Made by Brantford Washing Machine Co, Ontario, Canada.
