Description

IBM introduced the first personal computer, the PC, in 1981. This model, the XT (eXtended Technology) was the succesor to the PC. Although it did have enhanced features including a hard drive (the first computer to feature one), a CGA graphics card and increased memory, it was not regarded as being particularly innovative technologically.
