Description

Worker taking a tea break, surrounded by crates of eggs. 'Millions of eggs - but he eats bread and jam. 20 million eggs are now being unloaded from the Canadian Pacific steamer 'Corrales' in Surrey Commercial Docks, London...these eggs are the ship's entire cargo but are little more than one tenth of the total shell egg import now flowing into British ports from Canada'.
