Description

Woman responding to the 'Pans into Planes' appeal. 'Women were providing domestic articles made of aluminium, in response to the appeal by Lord Beaverbrook, Minister of Aircraft Production. The aluminium was handed over to the Women's Voluntary Services to be turned into warplanes'.
