Photograph. Dudbridge Iron Works Limited in Stroud, Gloucestershire were commisioned by the Paris-based French aero engine manufacturing company, Salmson, to manufacture aero engines to French engineering designs between 1911 and 1918. Dudbridge specialised in the manufacture of gas engines but increased aero engine production during World War I.
