Electron diffraction camera, 1938-1959.

This camera was in use from 1938 to 1959 at the Physical Chemistry Laboratory, University of Oxford. Electron diffraction cameras were used to investigate crystal structure by the patterns obtained on a screen from the diffraction of a beam of electrons fired at the surface of the crystals.
