Poster produced for the North Eastern Railway (NER) to promote its service between Hull and Edinburgh, via York and Newcastle, which took five hours. The poster is illustrated with a winged train travelling along the route as it is indicated on the map. Formed in 1854, the North Eastern Railway was incorporated into the London & North Eastern Railway in 1923. Artwork by an unknown artist. Dimensions: 1015 mm x 635 mm.
