Description

'The Jarrow marchers are now nearing the final stage of their march to London. After resting at Northampton, the marchers strode out briskly and hope to arrive in London on Saturday. They intend to present a petition of names at the Bar of the House of Commons, appealing for help for Jarrow, the worst hit of the depresed areas in the North East.'
