Mortar and pestle and Medicine Man's box, native American, c 1860-1930.

Description

The mortar and pestle, used in snuff manufacture, has a small leather skin pouch and a pick and is of Inuit origin. The Medicine Man's box, with a lid, is made from hide and lined inside with sacking and is of North American Indian origin.
