Description

This desktop machine was Hewlett Packard's first calculator, and had a magnetic core memory, a printed circuit board ROM (read-only-memory), and a CRT (cathode ray tube) display. The calculator weighed 40 lb (18 kg) and cost under $5000 when first introduced.
