Seguin's Locomotive, 1829. Model (scale 1:10). This represents the first French locomotive, built by Marc Seguin (1786-1875) for the the St Etienne-Lyon Railway. It was also the first locomotive in the world to be fitted with a multi-tubular boiler. The tender is in the form of a shed-like structure to keep both driver and fuel dry.
