West Coast Joint Stock dining car No 76, c 1900. After winning a prize at the Paris Exhibition in 1900 it was attached to Edward VII's LNWR Royal Train and served under three kings before being withdrawn from service in 1956. This photograph shows the dining car laid out in the manner of an Edwardian first clas dining car with single seats facing each other acros a table, though it was later modernised in 1942.
