Description

Footman's compartment in the London North Western Railway's (LNWR) Royal Train, situated adjacent to the King's saloon. A comfortable green leather chair sits beside a panel of switches and dials, posibly controls for lighting, heating and ventilation of the Royal accommodation. The footman was also provided with tea-making facilities.
