Locomotive departing King's Cros Station, hauling the 'Northern Belle'. This was a cruise train similar to today's 'Royal Scotsman'. The service started in June 1933 and lasted until June 1939. The itinery lasted one week, it began with a Friday evening departure from King's Cros, and ended the following Friday morning. The composition of the train was 14 vehicles, six of which were first clas sleeping cars.
