A two-cylinder water-cooled six-seater Daimler motor car with hot tube ignition, built by the Motor Manufacturing Company, UK. The 1650cc engine produced 6 hp at 700 rpm. This vehicle is a good example of the utility motor car as it had been developed just before the turn of the century. The engine patents taken out by German engineer Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler (1834-1900), which were of fundamental importance in the early development of the motor car, were exploited in England not only by the Daimler Motor Co Ltd but also, under licence, by the Motor Manufacturing Co Ltd.
