Description

A sectioned example of the 'Union' two-stroke air-cooled engine operating on the Clerk cycle and embodying improvements patented by R S Whaley in 1919. When fitted to a lightweight bicycle it is claimed that it could achieve 125 miles per gallon of petrol. Made by J Parkes & Sons Ltd.
