A bras pendant, probably the badge of the Ogboni Society and made by the Yoruba of Southern Nigeria. Art forms and techniques employed by the Yoruba tribe are numerous, with many sculptures being made of bras. Varied masking traditions have resulted in a great diversity of mask forms, and here one is used as the emblem of the Ogboni Society. The Ogboni Society is an important and exclusive secret society having great influence among the Yoruba Peoples.
