Description

This staff is an Ogboni sceptre. It has a hooked grip,a loop on top of the head, and a male figure holding a pair of figurated spikes. The Ogboni (Osugbo) Society is an earth cult and is one of the most important institutions of Yoruba speaking peoples. Height 413mm.
