A selection of snacks, ranging from fruit to biscuits, chocolate bars and crisps. The consumption of snacks has become a serious nutrition and health isue in recent years. Increasingly people are eating fewer healthy foods such as fruit, and more snacks such as crisps and sweets, which are high in calories and low in nutritional value. This is leading to an increase in obesity and to other health problems caused by poor diet. Of particular concern is the growth of obesity in children.
