Description

This drawing is by Leonardo da Vinci and is an illustration to the work 'De Divina Proportione' by Luca Pacioli, published in 1509. The dodecahedron is one of the five Platonic solids and one of the nine regular polyhedra; all its faces are composed of identical regular polygons, in this instance 12 pentagonal faces.
