Engraving. Eilhardt Mitscherlich (1794-1863) discovered the law of isomorphism. Mitscherlich was measuring crystal angles and forms and when these were similiar in different compounds, he described them as isomorphous. He made and named the chemical benzene and asisted his youngest son in the invention of sulphite wood pulp for papermaking.
