Description
Poster advertising the film 'Max Fait de la Photo' (Max takes photographs) which starred the comedian, Max Linder (1883-1925), whose real name was Gabriel Leuvielle. Working for Pathe between 1905 and 1914, Linder became a world-famous star and greatly influenced Charlie Chaplin. Linder created a well-off bachelor character, Max, whose comic adventures resulted from his pursuit of young women.
