Colour lithograph, drawn and chromolithographed by Kell Brothers, London. John Hawkshaw was the engineer responsible for designing this bridge, built to carry the South Eastern Railway acros the Thames from London Bridge to the more central terminus at Charing Cros. It was built on the site of Brunel's suspenion bridge of 1845.
